Since childhood the horse has
been an obsession to Meier Williams, inspiring a deep connection in providing a
sense of peace. Horses provide her
with a mysterious emotional fulfilment that subsequently manifests itself in an
intensive energised creative period.
Meier studied at Camborne
College, Wimbledon School of Art and Croydon College.
She has worked extensively in the world of Theatre Design.
During the past 20 years she has
enjoyed passing on her knowledge and skills to a variety of age groups through
teaching and personal tuition, running school workshops and as Artist in
Residence, in London, Bath, Cornwall and the South West, specialising in
textiles, sculpture, creative design, creative use of media and personal and
creative development.
Although she has a designated
workspace, it is the world around her that is her studio as she creates
constantly wherever she may be.
